Questions
What exactly does an official Copy of Records (COR) report show?
The generated PDF layout provides full structural and legal history, including: the current registered owner's full name and ID/PIN, engine and chassis configurations, manufacturing year, vehicle color, body type, fuel layout, and critical safety caveats (like active bank loans or insurance write-off flags).
What should I do if the search result shows an active "Caveat"?
If a caveat is active, it means a bank, micro-finance institution, or court has restricted the vehicle due to an unpaid loan or ongoing dispute. Do not buy the vehicle; the eCitizen portal will block any attempt to transfer its ownership until the lien holder sends a digital release trigger to NTSA.
