Questions

What is "Re-registration upon Legitimation" on eCitizen?
If a child is born before the parents are legally wed, the initial birth certificate often lists only the mother's details or leaves the father's column blank. If the parents later marry under civil or religious systems, they can apply for re-registration to officially add the father's name and update the child's surname.
Can I completely change my child's first name on the certificate?
Complete first-name changes are only allowed if the child is under two years of age. For children older than two or adults, you cannot alter first names via a simple correction portal; you must follow the strict legal process of drafting, signing, and registering a Deed Poll.
