Questions
How can I update my iTax profile email address if the old email is permanently closed or forgotten?
If you are locked out completely, you cannot update your email from the basic user dashboard. You must visit the nearest KRA customer care counter at any Huduma Centre, or submit a formal request via KRA's official digital channels. Provide your National ID card scan and a valid new email address; an officer will verify your identity manually and update the database profile within 48 hours.
What is the structural difference between an individual PIN and a company PIN?
An individual PIN begins with the letter "A" and represents your personal identity, tracking personal salary taxes and personal investments. A company or corporate PIN begins with the letter "P" and is issued to a separate legal corporate entity, tracking business taxes independently of the owners' personal records.
