Questions
What is the main structural advantage of a Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) in Kenya?
An LLP combines the organizational flexibility and tax advantages of a traditional partnership with the limited liability protections of a limited company. It exists as a separate legal entity, meaning the partners are not personally liable for the wrongdoing or negligence of other partners.
Does a Foreign Branch get a Kenyan corporate KRA PIN?
Yes. Upon successful registration on the eCitizen BRS portal, a local branch certificate is generated, which allows you to apply for a non-resident corporate KRA PIN to declare taxes on income earned specifically within Kenya.
