Chapter 9: THE EXECUTIVEPart 2 — THE PRESIDENT AND DEPUTY PRESIDENT
Article 135. Decisions of the President
Official Constitutional Text
135. A decision of the President in the performance of any function of the President under this Constitution shall be in writing and shall bear the seal and signature of the President.
Plain English Explanation
This is a simplified summary to explain this article in clear language. It is not the legal text of the Constitution.
Article 135 states that every official decision made by the President must be put in writing. To be legally valid, the document must also have the President's personal signature and the official government seal. This means the President cannot make official country decisions or laws just by speaking or giving verbal orders.
