Questions
What can I do if my TCC application is rejected due to an old system ledger error?
If the system denies your certificate over a disputed or ghost tax balance on your ledger, do not panic. Navigate to the "Debt and Enforcement" tab on iTax and file an official application for a "Ledger Rectification". Alternatively, visit the KRA desk at any major Huduma Centre where an automated support agent can cross-check your file and clean up the database errors manually.
How can an employer or tender board verify that my printed TCC is authentic?
Anyone can verify a TCC instantly by using the public KRA PIN & TCC Checker tool on the homepage of the iTax portal. By simply typing in your KRA PIN number or the unique serial number printed on your compliance document, the checker will pull up real-time records directly from the central database to confirm its status and validity.
